April Update

Hello there Pinky Punks,

I wanted to write up a quick update. A lot has been happening so I will do my best to keep this brief. Most of you know I abhor writing. 

Firstly there is a new print up in my Easy Shop, "My Neighbors Studio Ghibli" Also it is currently apart of my CON PRICING APRIL SALE. You will pay $10 for the print instead of $12. NICE!

Nearly all the proceeds from this print will go towards buying a new mac..

Next up, my youtube series D8 Night SOMA is on a little hiatus... a "hi8us". (HA, I really do think I'm funny) I will continue to update it but it just won't be any kind of regular schedule. I have 4 episodes recorded but editing them has been a little bit of a drag. I'm calling this hi8us for a number of reasons. For one my poor Macbook Pro is getting on in years, 8 to be exact, so render times for episodes are 6 hours or more. It had also come to my attention that the episodes are just tooooooooo long. From here on out I'm going to try and edit them down at most 20 minutes. But editing takes a lot of time, time I don't have right now. I'm being pulled in many different directions,  and it's REALLY exciting but it also cuts into editing time (Which I am not yet proficient in).

I want D8 Night to be one of the best most entertaining, most funny Let's Plays out there. I know those are big words coming from a small girl, but it's really how I feel. I LOVE making people laugh, it makes me feel good. And I'm going to take this time to really hunker down on my editing skills and give you the entertainment you deserve. This is NOT the end of D8 Night. In fact my Youtube partner BoterBug has offered to help with editing. Now HE is a great editor. Editing and movie making to him is as Art and coloring is to me. I know I don't have a ton of followers on Youtube yet, those that do sub, THANKYOU!!!! I love all of you so very much. Hang in there it will get better. 

I will be posting very short videos on my instagram and youtube. Like, really short... like 15 seconds. Like a vine... yeah, just like a vine... but not on vine. Cause I don't want any of you to forget about me. 

I WANT TO BE A LIVE STREAMER TOO!!!

I recently got my first Taste of Twitch Streaming as a guest on my friends twitch stream Mr.McRelish. We spent four hours trying to play Hatoful Boyfreind Holiday edition, in reality we only played for about 40 minutes and BSd the rest of the time. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. McRelish was nice enough to cut together a fabulous highlight video from my guest session that I will be posting on my youtube in the coming days. Of course I will repost it here on callmemina.com. Of course with only a small taste now I WANT TO DO THAT! I wanted to focus some of my time into streaming artwork. It's simple really, If I stream while I draw I produce content and artwork. It's a fantastic concept... except that my poor MacBook pro can't handle streaming. Photoshop and Premier, OKAY! but I try to live stream anything, KABLOOY. So I'm in the market for a new Mac in the near future. But that costs a lot of money I do not currently possess. To help fund this and the advancement of my career I plan to open a Patreon later but for now it would be great if you guys could take a look at my Etsy shop and pick up some art. Every little penny helps.

Moving onto my collaboration with Gemhammer and Sons Gaming. A couple months back some of my buddies from college got together and started up their own company. They are a nerdy gaming company that creates cards to accompany many nerdy table top games. My role in all of this is to provide the art for their expansion to "The Deck of Many Things" which is so rightly named,"The Deck of Many More Things". To fund this project they will be launching a Kickstarted probably some time in May or June. If you are a fan of D&D or really really nice tarot card art this deck is totally for you. Lastly is an update about my convention schedule. It is building, it is happening!!! I will have a schedule listed very soon. If you want to meet me at a show that is local to you, let me know! I will do everything in my power to make that happen. I love all you Pinky Punks and want to meet each and every one of you.
